2.5.3 Fuel lines & Fuel Filter

Fuel lines: The Tank to Filter line should be painted OD. The Filter to Flexline fuel line is bare. Original compression (flare) nuts were heavy, square shouldered, S7 finished.

Fuel Filter: An AC bowltype fuel filter was mounted on the right side of the firewall from start of production thru approx. May 1945. The cast iron filter top is marked with a prominent script “f”. The cast iron top is painted OD, the fuel filter bowl is Cadmium or Zinc plated, silkscreened in black with an AC logo and servicing information.
